You don’t need to wait until the end of your document to delete a page you no longer need in Word; you can simply press Delete on your keyboard and the page will be gone! There are actually four different ways to delete one or more pages from your Word document, each with its own specific purpose, so you can choose the one that best suits your situation.
Use Backspace to Remove Paragraphs
One way to delete a page break in your document is to backspace over it until the page is removed. If you have several page breaks that you want to remove, this method can be time-consuming. Another option is to select the Layout tab, then click on Breaks in the Page Setup group. From here, you can select Remove Breaks.
This will remove all page breaks from your document at once. If you only want to delete one specific break, it’s better to follow the instructions below. Use Ctrl+Shift+F9: You can also use Ctrl+Shift+F9 if you are working with individual
paragraphs. Just highlight and press this shortcut key and the paragraph will disappear. Unfortunately, if you have multiple paragraphs highlighted, they all disappear without any confirmation prompts.
Select Words and Use CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE
There are times when you need to delete a page from your Word document. Maybe you accidentally added an extra page, or maybe you need to remove a page to make room for new content. Whatever the reason, there are three ways you can delete a page in Word.
1) Select the words on that page and use CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE: Pressing CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE deletes both the selected text and any formatting on that page. You can also hold down SHIFT while pressing DELETE to bypass any protection on it. However, this will not delete images placed on that page; instead they’ll move to the next one where they’re still visible.
2) Cut and Paste: Selecting all of the text on that page (CTRL+A), cutting it (CTRL+X), then pasting it onto another part of your document (CTRL+V) will also do away with any formatting or layout changes made on that particular page. If
you copy and paste text from a different file into that page, be sure to change its font size so it’s consistent with the rest of your document.
3) Take Your Pages to the Trash Bin: If you have pages in your trash bin, drag them back into place within your document’s content area. The pages will return exactly as they were before being deleted – including formatting changes! Copy, Cut, Paste
One way to delete a page in your Word document is to simply select the text on the page you want to remove and then press the delete key on your keyboard. If you want to delete an entire page, you can also use the cut function. To do
this, click on the Home tab and then click on the Cut button. Alternatively, you can also use the paste function to delete a page.
To do this, click on the Home tab and then click on the Paste button. In addition, there are two other ways to delete a page from your Word document without cutting or pasting. You can either insert blank pages into the document or you can use one of Microsoft’s built-in features that will automatically create new pages as needed.
If you want to delete a page in your Word document, there are a few different ways you can do it. The first way is to simply press SHIFT+F5. This will take you to the next page, which will be blank. From here, you can simply hit the backspace key until the page is deleted. Another option is to select all of the text on that page and then press DELETE.
You may also right-click on the selected text and select Delete from the menu that pops up. Finally, if you want to delete just one line at a time, use CTRL+X or
find where the cursor is and then right-click with your mouse button and select Delete from the menu that pops up (this only works if there’s no text selected).
