Recently, AMD released their new Radeon HD 6970 graphics card based on the 28 nm architecture and boasting impressive features like support for DirectX 11, Eyefinity technology, and more. We’ve put this card to the test to find out if it’s truly as good as it looks! Here’s what we found…

Introduction

The AMD Radeon HD 6970 is a graphics card designed to provide high-definition gaming at affordable prices. It’s also perfect for people who enjoy watching movies, or playing games that demand quick response times. The best part about the AMD Radeon HD 6970 is that it’s not only powerful, but it’s also inexpensive, which means that anyone with an average income can afford one. If you’re in the market for a new computer and want the best bang for your buck, then this is the graphics card you’ll want to get! The best part of all of this is that, because the price is so low, most people will have enough money left over from their purchase to spend on other accessories such as an SSD (solid state drive) or more RAM (random access memory). There are some features missing from this card though, like 3D capability and Eyefinity support. However, those features are available if you step up a little bit in price range; when you do so however, those added features will add quite a bit of weight onto your wallet too.

Features and Specifications

The AMD Radeon HD 6970 is a new dual-GPU from AMD that is perfect for gamers who are looking to get into the next generation of gaming without breaking the bank. This video card can be configured with up to 2GB of GDDR5 memory, which will provide ample room for any gamer to run games at high resolutions and high framerates. The AMD Radeon HD 6970 also comes with ATI Eyefinity technology, which means that users can attach up to six monitors (three on each GPU) and enjoy games in true panoramic 3D! With these specifications and features, it’s easy to see why this graphics card is one of the most talked-about cards in gaming. Now let’s talk about the performance…

One of the best aspects of this card is its ability to handle a wide range of different game types, including RPG, FPS, racing and strategy games. In addition to excellent performance across different game types, this card performs exceptionally well when playing games like Skyrim or Battlefield 4 with maximum settings enabled. We ran through various benchmarks such as Heaven Benchmark 4.0 and Valley Benchmark 1.0 and found that even when running at higher resolutions like 1680×1050 or 1920×1200, there was very little lag or pixelation

In short? It’s hard not to recommend the AMD Radeon HD 6970 if you’re on a budget but still want some cutting-edge performance for your favorite PC games!

Performance

The AMD Radeon HD 6970 is an excellent graphics card that offers very good performance and features at a competitive price point. The only downside to this card is the lack of support for DirectX 11 and other new technologies, which are set to be released later this year. In addition, the AMD Radeon HD 6870 offers better performance in some instances, which may make it more appealing to hardcore gamers looking for the best possible experience. Overall, though, the AMD Radeon HD 6970 is an excellent choice. If you’re interested in getting a high-quality graphics card but don’t want to spend too much money, this is definitely the one to get! It will provide smooth gaming on newer titles with  framerates, making your gameplay as seamless as possible. As long as your computer has enough RAM (at least 4GB) then you should have no problem playing all the latest games with maxed out settings.

In conclusion, I think this card is well worth its current price ($359). It offers excellent bang for your buck!

Conclusion

The AMD Radeon HD 6970 is an excellent choice if you’re looking to save some money and still have enough power to play most of the games that are out right now. It’s not top of the line, but it’s more than adequate and will work well with just about any game out there. There are some drawbacks, though. The 7000 series GPUs don’t support DirectX 11 and the 6950 that is slightly cheaper doesn’t support DirectX 10 which means you won’t be able to run all of the newest games out there. The good thing about this GPU is that it’s designed for Crossfire so if you get one now, you can always buy another later when your needs change or prices drop.
