A Pakistani company called Crown Group has offered the cheapest electric car for just Rs 4 lakh. More affordable electric vehicles are likely to be introduced in the coming days. According to details, the government is formulating the country’s first electric vehicle policy, which will be implemented soon.

In Karachi, a Pakistani company called Crown Group has introduced the cheapest electric car in Pakistan. The Crown Group has introduced 3 different vehicles.
The company plans to introduce a car, a rickshaw and a scooter.
The car offered by the company will cost Rs 4 lakh, the rickshaw will cost Rs 3 lakh while the Scooty will cost Rs 55,000. It has been informed that the cost of all these vehicles will be from 80 paisa per kilometer to 1 rupees 25 paisa. On full charge, a car can travel up to 50 km, a rickshaw up to 60 km and a scooter up to 70 km.
Company officials say they are awaiting the announcement of an electrical vehicle policy by the government. After the announcement and implementation of the policy, the vehicles will be offered for regular sale in the market. These vehicles are currently undergoing testing. The company has made a regular plant operational at Port Qasim, Karachi, where 120,000 vehicles will be manufactured annually.
