The Galaxy S10 Plus might be the best Android phone on the market, but its price tag comes at a cost—literally. At $1,000, this phone is more expensive than its rivals, and that’s just to get the base model with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. If you want 512GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, you’ll need to add another $300 to your order.
What separates the Samsung Galaxy S10 from the rest of the top-tier Android phones is its camera. It has an incredible night mode which produces better low-light shots than anything else on the market right now. The front and rear cameras have a 12MP resolution, optical image stabilization and face detection.
And don’t worry about your fingerprints smudging up that pretty display – you can make both of them water resistant with an optional in-screen fingerprint sensor that also serves as a home button. The only downside to this phone is that it doesn’t have wireless charging but does come with a fast charger in the box. There’s also no headphone jack so you’ll need to use USB C headphones or buy Bluetooth ones.
It’s great that Samsung put a headphone jack in the Galaxy S10 Plus so we can charge it with our existing cords and cables. I also love how this phone has incredible battery life. You can go on YouTube and watch 10 hours of video without even getting close to draining the battery which is a lot more than most phones allow for. As for charging, you get about 20 hours off one complete charge so it is hard to come up with a downside to this phone’s power.
There are other cool features like being able to answer a call just by looking at your screen but those aren’t really essential features when deciding what phone to buy. Overall, this is an excellent device and if you are considering purchasing an Android phone in 2019 then this should be high on your list. Some people will say that its price point may not justify the cost but if you do any research then it becomes clear that its worth every penny.
One minor drawback is the lack of wireless charging but many people don’t want their device sitting on a pad all day so I think Samsung made the right decision.
The new Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus comes equipped with everything you need in a smartphone. It’s got a wonderful, big screen, dual front-facing cameras and three rear-facing cameras (one has a 12MP wide-angle lens), 4K video recording capabilities, Face Recognition unlocking, and wireless charging. While the US model doesn’t have wireless charging, it does come with faster wireless charging that only needs to be plugged in for 15 minutes to get up to 24 hours of battery life.
The Bixby button on the side of the phone also opens up Samsung’s newest voice assistant, though many users don’t use this feature as much because Siri is not available in all regions. There are plenty of other features on the phone too, like iris scanning for extra security. All in all, this is one of the best phones out there today and is a clear contender for 2019’s phone of the year.
The rounded rectangular shape of the Galaxy S10+ is immediately apparent in Samsung’s design. A large 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display dominates the front of the phone, with a hardware button on either side that are designed to be used with your thumb while holding the phone. Because they’re not backlit, it can take some getting used to when you first start using it.
Curved edges and a minimalistic form make for a smooth design language that’s both elegant and practical; It feels as comfortable in your hand as it does when looking at it. For example, our unit came with a navy blue color scheme with gold accents. But you’ll also have the option to purchase it in black or white if those colors better suit your taste. Its body has a more rigid frame than many other smartphones but still maintains the slimness we’ve come to expect from most modern flagships like Google’s Pixel 3 XL.
In terms of features, there’s plenty to love about this device but what stands out are its camera capabilities (more on that later). The 4x optical zoom lens is one of many excellent aspects of this smartphone camera and was one reason why we rated this device so highly during our review process. You’ll also find 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom options that should be more than enough for everyday use.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is one of the best phones on the market today. It has everything that a phone needs and so much more! It’s big, beautiful, and it comes with the Samsung One UI which is arguably better than any other android phone OS on the market. Give this phone a try, you won’t regret it. A name has not been given to the device yet but people are calling it Bravo.
There are reports that this device will come with three different display sizes- 6.4, 6.7 and 7. If true, then this will be the first time Samsung releases multiple variants of their flagship model for a year since 2016 when they released the Galaxy S7 Edge+, Galaxy Note 7+, and Galaxy S8+.
They also have some new features like an in-display fingerprint scanner which may offer a better experience over traditional scanners because of its placement right at the bottom of the screen instead of off to the side or back. All in all, if you’re looking for an upgrade to your current phone or just want something new then this is the perfect fit for you!
